SSI (Smart Structural Interpreter) is a suite of plugins for Rhino3d and Grasshopper3d that enable BIM and Structure model generation and exchange.

Tools include: Mesh Relaxing and resizing routines, Random Voronoi diagrams on polysurfaces, Profile Sweeping including element orientation, Weaire-Phelan polygon generation, Geodesic Dome creation, Cell filleting amongst others.
Note for this trial release, the SSI logo will randomly replace the structural member, a fully functional free trial version can be requested by running the command sdrZZLicenseRequest in Rhino.
BIM (BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING)

Please ensure Rhino is not running when installing plug-ins, else the installation might fail. If the plug-in does not load automatically (ie you don't see new toolbars when you restart Rhino), drag all ".rhp " files from the installation folder (usually C: \ Program Files \ Rhinoceros 4.0 \ Plug-ins \ SSI) over a window running Rhino. You should then see Rhino autocomplete new commands starting with sdr…. and ssi….
Always update all installed plugins to newest versions when available, Rhino loading problems can occur when shared files are not coordinated to latest version.
